The 36th Infantry Brigade was a British Army formation.This brigade fought in both the First and Second World Wars. The brigade was a 2nd Line Territorial Army brigade.

The 36th Brigade fought throughout the First World War with the 12th Eastern Division on the Western Front.
Re-created on 7 October 1939. It fought in the Battle of France in May 1940, as part of the 12th (Eastern) Infantry Division, where it was over run and dispersed. Reformed on 8 June 1940 it eventually became part of the British 78th Infantry Division serving in the North African Campaign, in Sicily and the Italian Campaign.
